The producer

Our orchards are in Lykoudi, Elassona, at an elevation of 500 metres on the western foothills of Mount Olympus. I’m Dimitris Mantzaflaras, and I continue the cultivation my family began in 1992, when the first 50 trees were planted. Today, we grow more than 700 trees across more than 5 hectares.

We are in the orchards throughout the year, from budbreak through to harvest. Harvesting and drying are mechanised to ensure the walnuts are collected and dried promptly and properly. Cracking is handled by our certified partners, and we carry out the final hand-sorting of the kernels ourselves.
